About Me

I am a professional musician with more than two decades of touring and recording experience, a writer with nearly two decades of writing experience for academic and popular outlets, and a former university instructor with more than 15 years of teaching experience across hundreds of in-person, hybrid, and online classroom settings.

I am the lead guitarist and co-vocalist of doomed heavy metal outfit Khemmis (Nuclear Blast Records) and the guitarist, vocalist, and lyricist of dissonant, progressive extreme metal outfit Glacial Tomb (Prosthetic Records). Music—particularly, but not exclusively, heavy music—is my passion.
